The Box of Delights Bookshop is pleased to invite you to a celebration of poetry and prose, performed by notable authors and poets, to mark the culmination of a year’s fundraising for the Unicef Girl’s Education Fund
Since March 2007, with full endorsement and support from Ami McKay, The Box of Delights set aside $4 per copy of The Birth House sold, to donate to Unicef’s Girl’s Education Fund. As you may guess, many copies of The Birth House sold in the past year!
Join us Wed Apr 30 at 7:00pm at the Box of Delights Bookshop 466 Main St Wolfville and enjoy offerings of story and verse from Kelly Redcliffe, Christy Ann Conlin, Blanca Baquero, Sophie Berube and …Ami Mckay!
John Humble, Atlantic Director of Unicef, will be present to accept our cheque and show us a short documentary on Unicef’s work in Africa.
Free will offerings for Unicef are most welcome.
