Cuckoo Moon by Half (Kate Adams, Cathy Arsenault)

Cuckoo Moon starts with strong vocal harmonies, mixes in guitar and serves it up with an engaging, inviting performance. The duo’s rootsy folk music celebrates life through thoughtful and original songwriting and arrangements.

The Hupman brothers

Their home on the web is at http://www.hupmanbrothers.com/ Check it out. A new/first CD is on its way. Rumors indicate that it will arrive by late June, early July. Amazing guitar players, cool singers, outstanding song writers. Stars of last years deep roots festival.

Sharon Bernbaum

After picking up a guitar at 8, Sharon realized that music would feature prominently in her life. Her influences are Michelle Shocked, Shawn Colvin, Eva Cassidy. Very comfortable on stage, due to her acting training, Sharon weaves her stories while connecting with the audience for an all around great time.

Rhiannon Wells

has been taking herself out dancing for as long as she can remember. She studied many forms of dance and choreography before finally falling in love with improvisation at Bennington College, where she received a degree in dance and math. She has performed in the United States, Canada, Nepal, and Brazil. Rhiannon teaches movement classes in Halifax and Wolfville. She'll perform with two fellow artists Lydia Pedri and Eli Gordon.

Sophie Bérubé

Sophie Bérubé brings innovation and passion to her work as a writer and performer. Writing mainly in French, she is the author of the Le chef d'oeuvre de Lombrie and La truelle magique. Le Chef-d'oeuvre de Lombrie, won the Lilla Stirling Award in the spring of 2002. Her first poetry collection, La trombe sacreé, was published in the fall of 2002 and won the Prix France-Acadie 2003.

A natural performer, Sophie has over ten years experience in theatre performance, creation and direction. She lives in Gaspereau with her family, where she is continually inspired by the beauty and magic that surround her to pursue the creation of new works.
