Recuperating from Deep Roots
Like last year, I found that attending the Deep Roots Music Festival was a most inspiring experience. I started attending a songwriters workshop (free!!!) on Friday afternoon in the Irving Centre's garden room, and got little sleep until late Sunday night after running into Meredith Hayes (plays Wednesday Night On The Verge). The attached photo was shot by Steven Kennard. Look out for more reports coming out gradually....

Modesty
For the benefit of readers so unfortunate as to not have attended the Deep Roots Music Festival and since you're too modest to mention it yourself it should be pointed out that not only did you and Ariana perform (t@b) but you acted as emcee of the closing sessions of the Festival on Sunday AND presented the Valley Arts Award to our friend, Jack McDonald.
The Festival, like so many other events and undertakings in the area, are indebted to your and Ariana's efforts, passion and enthusiasm.
