9:15 Allison and Megan Lickley
Allison has been strumming, plunking, and crooning since before she can remember. She grew up in Sudbury, Ontario, where she spent her childhood playing music and romping around in the great Northern Ontario woods. She released her independent 9-song debut album, 'Allison Lickley', in 2001. Allison took the next five years to study and play music in the Maritimes – sharing stages with Jill Barber, In Flight Safety, and Julie Doiron. Following her studies she moved to Montreal where she released her independent EP, 'Late September', in October 2006. Since then she has opened for Ox, Andrea Revel and Courtney Wing.
9:45 John and Andy Kavanagh
John Kavanagh is most known as virtuoso player of the ukulele and viola da gamba. John performs regularly with Jack McDonald, this years recipient of annual "Valley Arts Award". John has also recorded a CD (Parlour Music), filled with duets for ukulele and guitar. Andy Kavanagh is John's son, an accomplished percussionist who has shared the stage with a great variety of performers including "A Band of Owls".
10:15 Caleb Miles
Caleb is currently gigging with The B'Town Blues Band up and down Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley, as well as appearing with The Caleb Miles Band at The End Of The Line Pub in Bridgetown and The Wick/Union St. Cafe in Berwick. He's also been back to Albuquerque and Portland for some shows in recent months. It in Albuquerque where he joined his first rock'n'roll band, Albuquerque's ILLEGAL ALIENS, when he was fifteen.
